Amanohuna is a very high frequency feminine energy that is a complement to and comparable to Reiki. Amanohuna in Hawaiian means "The Abundance of the Right Way of Life." Used together, Amanohuna and Reiki provide a complete, dynamic, balanced healing system more powerful than either one alone. The Amanohuna attunement process is uniquely designed to reconnect students with abilities from past lives. The attunement ceremony is highlighted by channeled chanting and toning to bring in the sacred healing frequencies. Amanohuna has ten degrees. First Degree retunes the Crown, Brow, Throat, and Heart centers allowing balancing of the physical and etheric bodies. Second Degree additionally retunes the Solar Plexus and allows balancing of the emotional and mental bodies. Third Degree retunes the same five centers as Second Degree, but at a higher frequency, allowing balancing of the Causal and Spiritual bodies. Fourth Degree additionally retunes the sacral center and provides greater power and grounding. Fifth Degree additionally retunes the Root center and affords even greater power and grounding. Degrees six through ten retune the five transpersonal chakras above the head.

Amanohuna is part of a larger balanced system of healing originating in ancient Lemuria. That system used both a masculine (positive) and a feminine (negative) energy together to effect very powerful healings. This is similar to electrical systems that use both positive and negative polarities so that electrical current will flow. Dr. Usui rediscovered the male (positive) aspect of this ancient healing system in about 1920 in Japan and called it Reiki. Amanohuna the feminine (negative) aspect was rediscovered much later by Arthur Cataldo while he was in Hawaii in 1984. Arthur was told in a meditation, before going to Hawaii, that he would meet a new spiritual teacher there. Who the teacher was, was quite a surprise. The fascinating story will be shared in the Amanohuna I class.

Up until 1995, there were only five degrees of Amanohuna. However, Arthur received in meditation knowledge of five more attunements that assist our transformation into a higher dimension by reactivating ten additional strands of DNA (five strand-pairs, one per chakra). The Eighth Chakra connects us to our soul body; the Ninth to the energy field of the Earth; the Tenth to the energy field of the Solar System; the Eleventh to the energy field of the Galaxy; and the Twelfth to the energy field of the Universe. With all twelve chakras activated and retuned, we truly become one with all that is and grow into our true nature as cosmic beings.

Arthur Cataldo is a Missouri-licensed clinical psychologist, a certified hypnotherapist, a professional member of the Association for Past Life Research and Therapies, a Florida-licensed massage therapist, and is nationally certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork.
